This 30 metre railway platform extension installed as part of the Cardiff Valleys programme. The extension steelwork spans the Rhondda Fawr river, and was installed during a weekend rail possession in March 2008.
The project included approximately 70 metres of galvanized handrail, plus approximately 140 metres of galvanized mesh panels to completely enclose the platform undersides. |
